Scrap Aluminum is used to make products after its initial production. In this process the Scrap Aluminum is melted and it is cheaper in terms of energy consumption comparing to the creation of new aluminum. New aluminum is created through the process of electrolysis and Aluminum Oxide and oxide is mined from Bauxite Ore and later refined using the Bayer Process. During the recycling of aluminum from scrap aluminum only 5% energy is used.
